actually, my other writing fandom is criminal minds, and i only have one piece. i read SPN/j2 because my god, people write the best shit for that. Because of that, i'm freakishly intimidated and like to stick to ATWT and then my branch off into criminal minds. i really need to finish that, actually, haven't gotten to the good bits yet.

if you want hot fic - seriously - spn is an AWESOME fandom to read. People go anywhere/everywhere in that. You can find whatever kink you are looking for without even blinking an eye.

i'm on vacation all of next week, yes, back at school for a week, then off for another before it's back to work work work. but i definitely have time this summer. plus, i'm refusing to take school work home with me at all. it's going to be all writing all the time. i'm on a deadline of some sort, because i have a lot to learn in my year of merepersiflage's school of smut plan. (and i'm about half way through).

the fight for my attention is between the two rentboys. marcella and laura are pressuring for elevator, but others are clamoring for interview. (though the others don't know about elevator, and that's easily going to be over 25k, so i'm intimidated by it.)

oooh la la. i don't know what the wife would do if i had a cheerleading skirt. but i do know i need to find some cheerleader icons for when i'm enabling people. i need to be, like, not a size gazillion and three before i fit into cheerleading outfits. otherwise i'd be all about it. instead - definitely the cheerleading moves would rock. :)

The biggest thing I remember about it, and like I said I really just was one for like 5 mins, was we had to be loud and clear and all the moves had to be sharp. And smile. God they always wanted you to smile. Prob. why I only lasted a short time. Hee.

My best friend was trying out when we were in HS and I was always loud and flexible so I thought I'd go with her. We both made it on but she stayed and I only lasted a season because honestly after awhile the girls annoyed me.

Oh and as cliche as this is I also had the biggest crush on one of the football players. Had it since we were in the 3rd grade together. So that helped. (And I did eventually get him)

i dated a football player or, umm, hmm, two? three? something like that. aah, junior high. those were the days. i wanted to cheer because there were no gymnastics at my school, but the coach made it very clear that fat girls were not welcome - regardless of whether they could do cartwheels, round offs, full splits, backbends and various other things, as well as base a pyramid. *shrugs* so i was subversive, dated some of the football team and made sure to be a snarky bitch. oh yeah, junior high, what a great set of memories. ;)

The football guy didn't last long. Then I always was with the musicians or punk boys. But god that coach sounds like an ass. Sorry. That sucks. But being a snarky bitch can be loads of fun sometimes. Plus you can be a total cheerleader now. Just without the splits and backbends. This enabling thing - total cheerleader mode.

wanna know the best part? i'm still fat, but now i'm 32 and not 13, and i can still do splits and backbends. oh yeah. i'm totally more flexible than most of my students. i'm almost back to the point where i can put my leg behind my head. i just need some more pilates. :) it's good to have semi-secret talents. maybe that's what helps the enabling?
