ATWT is trying to kill me

I wanted to write hugs and puppies and now I'm stuck in confusion. What just went on today? Also, there is someone on my FL who kept on talking junk about Luke and Casey hooking up. I am so very not down with this. You know who you are. I blame you entirely.

However, points for Noah saying he loved Luke and points for that snuggle at the end.

aside from the backbone, give her some backstory about her time in the US. How did she find Noah, what was she doing, etc. etc. etc. Why does she have weird moments of culture shock and then not other moments of culture shock. It makes no sense.

She is very inconsistently written which is really annoying and like you said makes no sense. I thought when Casey mentioned a bomb the other day she'd flinch or something but...

It's certainly not bothering me. :) Writing? Yay!

I just can't figure out the deal with her. Also, because I'm new to watching the show, i don't know how long to wait before ends get at least vaguely tied. How long before we figure something out about the letter being stolen from Noah's backpack?

Maybe the secret will be that she's not really from iraq? The thing is, i think ATWT is treading a dangerous line, much like with luke/noah, you have to give an honest and decent portrayal or people will be pissed. One of the questions for me becomes, is it somehow to show Ameera unfavorably because of where she's from, and if so, EEEW, and if not, then what? She can't be a good character if she's busy screwing up Luke/Noah, and Luke/Noah can't be good if they're being screwed up ... and didn't people adore Maddie? If Casey is out of jail and being a good puppy, shouldn't Maddie show up again to reclaim her man (aside from when he says you can only accept me if you can accept Matt as well, but that's just a side note, really.)

If i can get past the opening paragraphs, the writing will be good. I need to zip this out so I get caught up. Valentine's took two months to complete both parts, so that shifted me way out of time sync. The alley bit only took a week though, so maybe I'm catching my second wind or my stride or some such cliche.

You have to figure she took it. Watch, they'll probably never tie it together. *rolls eyes*

Well, Maddie and Casey broke up on not great terms when Casey was in prison, so I'm not sure how thrilled she'd be...with Casey in general. I personally hated Maddie. She irritates the fuck out of me and I was honestly happy she left. I don't know about Ameera she is written so oddly it's hard to tell her real motive. But I don't think they can make her a major villain because she's from Iraq. It's that ling like you said.

Why are those first parts always the hardest?

I saw the casey/maddie break up and i thought it was handled well. He was letting her go. which was the correct thing to do. and it seemed like they still had a connection, because Noah + Maddie = 0 chemistry, actually more like negative chemistry, and not just because Noah was queer and in love with Luke, but because Maddie still wanted Casey.

So somehow the fact that Luke is all about this ameera thing and all, I don't know, it's weird. Did I miss him phoning Maddie to tell her he was back in town or anything? I don't think I did.

The first part isn't the hardest for me, it's the third ... well ... the third paragraph, usually, or there about. True to form, my first two paragraphs are all good and now I hesitate to move forward. I always fear that my stuff will suck massively and people will mock me forever.

I do like Casey/Maddie I guess. She just annoyed me, so I kinda get all grrr when she's around.

I never saw Casey/Maddie together, but they sound like they were quite the thing, whatever that thing can be when one is in high school and one's SO is in jail.

Agreed on the her not being so devastated, but also, I assumed they were leaving open the possibility for them to re-hook later.

They absolutely leave that possibility open. A character that I loved on Guiding Light (when i was in 7th grade) is back on the show now. A LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG time later, and I'm pretty sure I caught a trailer that said her love interest from that time was about to come back to the show. Yeah. Weird. Tres weird.

:D Well, in the same sort of thing, some soap is bring back a character that was dead! And his girlfriend was a doctor but now he like...faked it or something. Anything can be reversed on a soap.

Harley is the one who left - and i stopped watching when she did because keep in mind I was 12-14 when I watched her and I couldn't figure out if I wanted to be her or jump her or what. It was most confusing. But she's been back awhile.

I'm pretty sure I heard something about Phillip returning. And then's when I got all confused. Phillip returning now ... ummm ... 20 years later?
