As for the remixing: anyone can remix my stuff that's fine and I would be so Ok with that. I think I'd be way too freaked out to touch someone else's work though. I'm not sure I have the confidence yet to go there but maybe one day.
Also Van became my most fav. person when he said his favorite Jessica was Jessica Rabbit. I mean, honestly, that is the most perfect thing in the history of perfect.
