Well see, I've got it all figured out. The reason he "died" was to go into witness protection because he was helping the FBI with a drug problem on the Oakdale U campus, but once the trial was over and the dealers got put away, he came back. Ta da! And now he and tony need to get over the fact that Tony's been purchasing prostitutes and they need to fall in love again.
