May Writing Round Up

[nouveau_monday]

Well, damn. I was busy this month.

I wrote over 35,000 words this month. Seriously. That's almost a NaNo in fanfic. That's, I don't know, mind boggling. Well, for me it is. I know others here are insanely prolific and talented, but this is all new to me. I've only been writing this since the end of December.

So yeah, definitely my strongest month to date.

Things I wrote or co-wrote on LJ:

• Magnets #6 (I really love my hugs and puppies universe here. katomyte deserves all the credit for naming it magnets)
  
• Home (because ithilien22 asked me to write with her. This was an amazing experience.)
  
• Criminal Minds fic (I had written part of it, but only 655 words of it, and i added a bunch this month. I need to post today.)
  
• I Dare You (my first ever and so far only RPS)
  
• Really Bad Idea (the sequal to I Dare You)
  
• Two quickies for the pornathon (One victorian, one bottom!bossy!Luke)
  
• The Interview (the beginnings of a ATWT AU where Noah is a rentboy and Luke is a reporter for Oakdale U)
  
• An untitled one where Noah is an escort and Luke is getting his MFA and they live in NYC. (This is ridiculously long and unfinished)

I feel like I'm missing something off this list, but maybe not. I can't even begin to explain how good this makes me feel. I hadn't been writing for a long time, and this is amazing. Really, really amazing.

I want to read the Criminal Minds fic! There aren't a lot of really good ones out there, and I'm confident yours will be good. :)

Also, what's "victorian" porn?

At x-mas time, As the world turns did an alternative victorian dollhouse themed episode and there was this scene of Luke and Noah in it. Over at the Luke_Noah community, a couple of us sponsored a luke/noah comment length pornathon and someone requested a victorian one.

Ok - the victorian dollhouse makes sense now. I was thinking, "we're objectifying ankles and decolletage again?"

I'm sad that you're not feeling well, but if it gives me an excuse to read a CM fic, then... ;)

And yes! I'll be on this afternoon and would love to tell you about my trip. I LOVED Istanbul and Barcelona.
